Horrendous Customer Service re: policy cancellation refunds

On 4/13/12, I sold my vehicle and requested a cancellation refund from AW Autopro. I faxed them the documents they requested and they told me it could take 45-60 business days to receive a refund. I paid $2,476.00 for the extended warranty and never made a claim with the company. Today is 8/1/12 and I have never received a refund from AW Autopro. On 7/24/12, I filed an online complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they contacted the company by e-mail on 7/27/12. The only "communication" I've received from the company was an automatic "form" e-mail from their refund department on 7/13/12 advising me that they would look into my account and respond within 3 business days. On 7/20/12 (5 business days later), after hearing nothing from them, I sent a follow up e-mail to the refund department to let them know how upset I was. Their response to this was to send me the exact same "form" e-mail that they had sent me the preceding week. This was on 7/27/12 and I, of course, have heard nothing back from them. I am frustrated and angry beyond belief. I hope that this review will help to dissuade others from doing business with this company. I would hate to see others go through what AW Autopro has put me through.
