Professional Scam!!
I have been reading all the notes about this company and I must admit I wish I had seen all the negative reviews BEFORE I went in for my interview. I went in for my interview, and I like alot of the people who have made posts here, was hired on the spot! I paid my $75 for my background check and started training. I paid the $99 kit fee and more than sold my $2000 in products to become an Assistant Office Manager and begin my IOT (in office training) I was hiring people, running classes and doing orientations for new hires and worked closely with Ms. B, and a few other office managers who are suprisingly no longer with the company. I was taught to lie to people and try and get as many hires through the door as we could in a day, I mean after all this was $75.00 per person and more money in the US Safety bank account. I worked for these people 5 days a week doing my IOT and classes I was required to attend for MONTHS, sometimes until after 11PM at night and was not compensated at all!! Not a dime for any of my hires the training and classes I ran or anything I did in the office. Do not let these people lie to you especially if you are in need of a PAYING job where you will get a regular paycheck. They tell you you will be getting paid and your pay is based on your "performance". As mentioned below in a few posts under mine Janae Myers, who ran the Melrose office proves this point and mentions it as well. Im not sure who these people are who post about working for the company and making good money because to be honest these people have a flawless scam running here and while Ms B and Mr York roll around in their Mercedes and live the good life their employees are trying to scrape up enough money for gas to even get to the office!! Look at the US Safety website and you will see pictures of people there in classes and at certain events the company had. NONE of those people are with the company any longer with the exception of Ms. B!! I saw a fair share of people get promoted while I was with US Safety, myself being one of them, and none of us got offices!! We just worked like dogs and slaved for a company who did not truly care about the employees or its people. They say they save lives for a living.... they sell over priced merchandise that anyone can get at a local hardware store and the information they "teach" you can be taught and obtained by visiting a local fire station. Do not get looped into this scam unless you want to be snowed and lied to, work for free and get no compensation at all for any of your dedication and hard work. The cheap plaques and certificates I got while I was there could not be used as payment to pay my bills or put food on my table for my child. I am not by any means a "weak" person. You will read about people not completing training and such because they were weak and not dedicated. As I mentioned myself and the people I trained with were strong individuals that all gave 110% to this company and got nothing in return. If you are skeptical then go for yourself, pay the $75.00 for the background check, the $99 for the "instructional manual and fire safety products" you get and try it for yourself. If you go this route be prepared to bust your butt for free and pad someone else's pockets!! I am hoping this review helps deter more people from letting this company get away with stealing! Ms. B and her "managers" prey on desperate people who need work and use them. Good luck to anyone who tries to "work" for US Safety!!
