Hi Steve [owner of TicketBust],
A most welcome envelope came in the mail today from the JT Superior Court from the judge stating
'Officer's declaration not filed.
Defendant's declaration read and considered.
Court finds Defendant NOT GUILTY as to Count.'
A separate envelope enclosed a check for the bail amount!
In the larger order of things, a traffic ticket ranks as no big deal. Still, you may have heard a huge sigh of relief coming from Yucca Valley. I also learned many good pointers from your book 'Stories from the Street' including the one that coming to a full and complete stop is similar to reining in a horse so the nose comes up, when you hit the brakes. Just gliding to a stop doesn't quite do it. Also, seems that the officer in my case didn't fill out his report.
