I wanted to write a review for this very helpful person....Anyway, I am a single mother of 2 and got a DUI. My first DUI, in fact, my first anything! I was devastated. Anyway. I have been out of work for about 6 months and could not possibly afford an attorney, but I still had oodles of questions. I called a few attorneys from the internet and I was very up front with them. Once they found out about my financial sitch, they got off the phone. I called Mr. Cognata and when I told him, didn't care that I had no money, he just said, "tell me what happened..." I spent 30 minutes with me telling me the before, during and after re DUI and informed me so that I could go into court with my eyes open. I even called him after the cases was over and he answered more questions! Because he spent this time with me, with no expectation of any payment, he helped me immeasurably. I will refer anyone I know who has a problem to him, bar none. He is a professional, a humanitarian and Mr. Cognata, if you are reading this thank you for you’re your unbridled compassion.
