Went in to see a car they had online that was priced very well. Once I got there they claim the car was sold yet a week later they still have the same car posted on their site. Basically its just to get customers in the door.
The car salesman seemed genuine enough trying to find a comparable car and price. Ended up buying the same model car that had aftermarket parts installed. The salesman used this as his selling point and the reason for the increased price of the car.
The very night I drive it home the check engine light comes on. Took it back a few days later and the mechanic clears the code but does nothing else. He says one of the aftermarket parts is the root of the problem. However this is not something they cover under warranty. We speak to the Sale Manager who basically smiles, tells us too bad its your problem.
And as with the previous poster Mark D. we were victim of the Gap coverage. I have to agree completely with his statement of "anything for the sale, screw the customer, and move on to the next." Our salesman had promised a few extra selling points that he promised to find out about the next day and never got back to us once we drove the car off the lot.
In my opinion replacing the aftermarket part with the original would be a minimal cost to turn what was an "okay" car buying experience into a good one. Instead he has turned it into a completely awful experience.
