Bait and switch tactics. I specifically told the finance manager I didn't want or need gap insurance. When I got home, and perused my contract, there it was, 765 dollars worth.
Incompetent sales and finance department. The fact that I didn't have comprehensive or collision insurance was part and parcel to the sale. I was very clear with the sales person and finance manager, that I was uninsured. They told me repeatedly they would attach a 30 day binder and I would be safe to drive off the lot. The never attached the binder and now I have a $2500 claim that they just laugh about.
Typical, scummy used car sales people. Anything for a sale, screw the customer, tell them anything they want to hear, move on to the next.
