I took a recently purchased used car to them for brakes which were worn. The tech recommended a brake job, an oil and filter change and air filter replacement after doing an 'inspection'. In the past these are things I could do myself, but I'm recently disabled and agreed to all work except the air filter.... I can still do that. 700 dollars!! later, I get my car back, and I notice that they had placed a new 'recommended oil change mileage sticker' under the old one from another shop. The oil in the car that they recommended I change was less than 400 miles old! Upon inspection of the 'dirty' air filter, I noticed it too was nearly brand new. So watch out. Skip's will take every opportunity to jam you for service your car does not need, and cannot be trusted. In fairness, the brake service was fine, but overpriced, also I have purchased tires from them in the past and had no problems...but for service, stay away.
