Be very careful at this dealership. We were all set to sign paperwork to purchase an RV when they decided that we were going to have to have it insured before we left the lot. This was on a Saturday and our insurance was closed. They wanted to sell us insurance from their fly by night company on the spot. We stopped right where we were and waited to phone our insurance agent on Monday. The insurance was not necessary if we were going to pull the RV with our insured truck, it was covered for 30 days. If we were going to have the RV delivered it did need to be insured prior to it being towed. The F&I man at Simi RV should have known all of this and informed us to speak with our insurance agent during the week prior while they were doing the PDI on the RV. Our guess is they were going to get a kick back from the insurance company for selling us the insurance. Granted we should have checked about the insurance on our own but at some point isn't it the F&I mans job to make sure you have everything in place when you come in to sign loan doc's and pick up your RV. Keep your Radar up if you consider this dealership
