Review 3/21/2009

Unfavorable Review against PURETECH Water Treatment Systems. Their customer service has no response or it is very slow respond. After initial installation in 2007, I called customer service and left messages on their voice answering machine but PURETECH never returned the call. Recently, during the freezing temperatures of early 2009, the outside PURETECH water assembly began to make odd noises. I called PURETECH and their customer service was slow to respond. It took several calls and around three days before they finally acknowledge the call. If the outside unit had continued to operate, the control valve assembly (a.k.a. the head) would have failed because the water inside the head froze and the cost for repair would have been just as much as a new system. After paying such an enormous amount of money for the entire PURETECH water treatment system, it does not seem their customer service is adequate to support such a product.
The system itself lacks engineering. During the cold freezing temperatures, the head freezes and I lose running water in the entire house. Other than the above mentioned, it seems the PURETECH system does perform its function during the warm temperatures.
