Review 4/1/2011

Buyer Beware! I recently purchased a 2011 Volvo C30R at Ontario Volvo. I purchased my car in the evening about an hour after they closed, papers were signed and I went out to my new car. I was asked to bring the car back for detailing because they didn't have time to wash it that evening. I took the car home. The next morning I noticed a chip and dent on the rt. rear fender. This must have occurred when they were removing the roof rack the night before. I called and let the dealership know what I noticed. They said the would take care of it when I brought it back to have the lojack and paint protection installed. When I took the car in, they said they would try and sand the chip and if I didn't like the results, they would paint it. Well, when I picked it, the chip was still noticeable as well as the dent . I also noticed a chip in the driver side window. In addition, there are numerous water spots embedded in the windshield and other windows. They tried to remove the spots, but were unable. Now I am told it is a manufacturer defect. They were less than honest about the equipment on the car. I was told that I had 6 months of Sirius radio free. After my purchase I asked the salesman to show me how to access the Sirius. He was unable so he asked someone else to help. That person said I did not have Sirius radio nor is it prewired for that. I have asked owner of this dealership to fix the problems or give me a new car, or just give me my money and trade-in back. He refused to claim and wrong on the part of his dealership and will not fix any of the concerns I have. They in fact have banned me from the dealership. So I now have a brand new $40k car with defects. I have to go to another dealership to have the windows addressed. This is no way to treat a 4 time Volvo owner. Volvo is a great product, but I recommend not purchasing any product from Volvo of Ontario. Look at their BBB rating. Safe driving.
