Most of the original founders have left due to the site being nothing more than a money grab now. I left eight years ago (not long after the Halloween of the aliens and cows.)

The inflation is out of control on this site, so it's pointless collecting items. The community is dead it's all about collecting gold or Gaia cash.
Back in the day, we were allowed up to three mule accounts along with our main account. My account quietriver was locked to someone trying to steal it and the mods refused to give it back to me, even after I gave all of my account into and sent them a scan of my Minnesota ID.
Before this happened a multitude of my long time friends of 7+ years left after the Halloween incident of the promies. (Snotty- super loved members of the gaia staff. Much like a teacher pet.) It wasn't just that but the rising inflation getting worse and worse, along with a lack of old members and the site being filled with newbies that acted like four-year-olds. That and I sent them over 20$ and never got what I paid for. After years of buying envelopes here and there a couple here and there every year. I didn't take too kindly to being scammed!
The new owners/management or whatever can go straight to hell; I hope they go bankrupt along the way they deserve it for lying to us about everything.
