Please note that this business, and all associated businesses, has had an unsatisfactory record with the BBB of Upstate SC. Their unsatisfactory record is due to a pattern of unanswered and unresolved complaints and unsubstantiated advertising claims. Complaints allege blistering, cracking and flaking of product, quality of product, improper installation, unfulfilled contracts, paints not matching, jobs not completed, refund issues, unable to contact company or receive return calls and violation of do not call list. The company has responded to some complaints however, is not refunding consumers per contract agreements. Several complaints were closed as resolved when the company agreed to refund money to consumers after the Sheriff's Department was contacted for resolution, however the consumers are not receiving complete refunds. On August 8, 2006 the Permanent Coating supplier notified the BBB that they have suspended the warranty coverage to Liquid Armour customers and will no longer make the warranty good, due to Liquid Armours' failure to install or apply the product per manufacturer specifications.
