I can full-heartedly recommend CFR Rinkens for their service. My car, an Acura NSX, was transported safely across the pond using their proprietary shipping method.
Pictures were sent to me during the process, and communication was excellent along the way.
A small issue that indeed occurred with the 'connecting' transportation across land here in Germany, was taken care of very elegantly and to my full satisfaction. CFR Rinkens went out of their way to make sure that problems were solved and I ended up being a happy customer.
Just to avoid confusion with your shipping company, do make sure you posses detailed and current pictures of the car prior to transportation and communicate with your transporter about the state of the car.
E.g. make sure a damage report is created that is signed by both parties at pickup time.
Not all companies might be so understanding and supportive as CFR Rinkens, in reaching a mutual understanding afterwards!
CFR Rinkens did a great job, and the car is now safe here with me.
