As many others before me I fell for the bogus claims this rip-off outfit makes on late night TV. I owed taxes for 4 yrs., and was told by Darren Lee that he could negotiate with the IRS to get fees and interest knocked off of my tax bill. I gave a credit card number over the phone, and they were supposed to take an initial deposit of $1,000.00 to get things rolling. They took that amount, and the following week took another $2,600.00 from the credit card number I had given them. I called and asked about this, and was told that the total amount had to be paid up front because they were dealing with a "special set of circumstances." Okay. So I waited ... and waited. To make a very long story short, after 9 months and very little contact, I was able to get ahold of Jesse Lawson, (are any of these names real?) who informed me that Darren Lee was no longer with the company. He would be handling my account, but since so much time had elapsed, he would need another $950.00 to re-open the case. Yes, I did ask how my case came to be "closed," and got some more double-speak. I sent the money via check this time. They cashed the check, and that's the last contact I've had with them. They will not return calls, they will not negotiate with the IRS, they won't help you with anything ... except lightening your wallet.
